KREWELLA - ALIVE (HARDWELL REMIX)! + HARDWELL ON AIR 114 - "I AM HARDWELL" WORLD TOUR KICK OFF

Introducing Vicetone — an incredible new duo from Netherlands. Today, I’ve got their remix of Fedde Le Grand & Nicky Romero’s “Sparks”. The original tune premiered at EDC Las Vegas 2012 and since it’s been an absolute hit. Vicetone did an astonishing job at flipping it into a bangin’ progressive house track.

Although Knife Party’s Haunted House EP was set to release on May 6th, it looks like the tracks leaked early. It’s been a long wait but it was definitely worth it. It’s also possible this isn’t the entire EP. I think Piledriver and Baghdad will be released on May 6th with the rest of them but we’ll see.
Skrillex dropped his new 3-track EP “Leaving” today, and the tracks are very ‘different’. The Reason really sounds like his older tracks (which I love), such as Scatting. Scary Bolly Dub is like a remix of a remix of a remix. It was originally ripped and titled Lick It Down. I figured it was just a live mash-up but I’m glad to see it’s released. Now, for the “golden” track, Leaving. It’s a future garage track and in all honesty it’s pretty generic; however, with that being said, It’s clean and I really like the fact that he’s taking on new genres and trying to step away from his “brostep” that he’s known for. A ton of people are hating on it, which is expected and I’m sure he expected the same, but it really shows that he doesn’t give a shit and produces what he wants to produce. That’s what I really love about sonny is the fact that he does what he loves despite what people think, and he’s stated that many, many times. You can download these tracks by becoming a member of OWSLA: The Nest.
The official video for Koven’s More Than You just premiered on UKF, and it’s amazing. I’m absolutely in love with this track. The wobbles send shivers down my spine and Kate Ashton’s haunting vocals attest to that. It’s set to be released in march on Viper Recordings
Zeds Dead have just released their brand new 5 song Hot Sauce EP via Diplo’s Mad Decent. The follow-up to last year’s Mad Decent EP, Victor, features 5 instrumental tracks that find the duo exploring more sonic territory with their music, further proving that they are one of the most versatile electronic groups around. From the opener, Demons, a nightmare inducing track with heavy, pulsating synths as well as keys and strings plucked straight from classic horror films to Mr. Sub, which displays a more minimalist approach from the duo with a bouncing bass and touches of space-disco synths and Rave a breakbeat monster that hits so fast they put in an audible breaths to remind listeners to take one themselves. This no hold barred approach to electronic music has posed Zeds Dead as one to keep an eye on in the year ahead.
